On Holidays and Job Hunting

I'm back! And yes, as the title suggests I wasn't able to post much due to the holiday season. T'was a really fun time for me and my family though relatively quieter and less busy than last year's. Nevertheless, I'm still quite thankful that we are yet able to go through another year together no matter the obstacles that came our way.

 Anyhow, I'm quite in the mood to post about things tonight as I wasn't able to for the last few days. To start of, let me just say congratulations to the recent crowning of our very own Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as Miss Universe 2015. So proud of you girl! And yes, that gave away my nationality didn't it? Haha, one proud Filipina here ya'll! :)

 So every happy occasion aside, downside of the ending holiday season is that I'm going to have to face the fact that I'm still utterly jobless and looking for a job this time around is quite more difficult than the last few ones. Yes, I'm what you may call a job-hopper. But I'm not giving up hope though, I'm going to do my best to get that job I'll want for the rest of my life!

 But not because it's the holiday season means I just wasted the days away not doing anything productive. I was actually able to read quite a few mangas here and there as well as do some shopping for clothes which I'm in dire need of. Also, I'm able to get a few invites to interviews for next week which I'm looking forward to. That Person above really looks out for me even though I'm not deserving most of the time. Thank You!

 Will post a review of those mangas I was talking about in the next few hours (or days). I'm excited to share them with ya'll even though I'm not sure if you guys will find them as interesting as I did.

    Holidays are a tough time to get work done with so many family and friend obligations, especially if you are trying to find a job. Most HR staff are also on holidays and there is typically not a lot of hiring being done at that time. Keep up the search, and you will find your place!

      Hi Celine and thanks for your kind encouragement! I do have the determination to keep up the search and find my place in this difficult world of adulthood. :)

Manga Review - Akatsuki no Yona by Mizuho Kusanagi

I haven't been able to do a manga review before. So this is something new although it has been done by thousands of people around the globe. Will introduce one of my recently favored mangas, Akatsuki no Yona or roughly translated to Yona of the Dawn (I never had even the slightest background on Japanese language I'm just purely depending on the translation entries from Google). picture credits to owners, linked the images used through out this post directly from source At first, I though it was a manhwa, considering the names of the characters which are kind of Korean sounding if you let it roll on your tongue. I do have background on the Korean language (took it up until level 3) but hey, I'm no expert so it's up to you to decide. One Ok Rock 35XXXV Asia Tour in Manila - January 19, 2016

Needless to say I had the BEST night of my life! I've been a casual fan of this Japanese rock band since 2014 and I was just so thrilled to first hear the news of them doing a concert here back in September! Watching the concert made me a believer, heh!
